The best kid-friendly restaurants in Las Vegas

Family in a Cafe

Las Vegas isn’t just for the adults. Kids can play here, too. And when it’s time to dine, these kid-friendly restaurants go above and beyond to provide quality service and great food for their younger clientele.

  1. Kona Grill
750 S Rampart Blvd, Las Vegas, NV

While the adults enjoy their sushi and cocktails, kids also get their fair share of mouth-watering dishes at Kona Grill. Their dedicated kids’ menu, open to guests ages 12 and under, is a real winner. It features a wide array of options, from gooey grilled cheese sandwich and chicken fingers to chicken satay and shrimp tempura. Even the pickiest eater can find something here.

Best of all, the items in Kona Grill’s kids’ menu are all under $7.

  2. Honey Salt
Rampart Commons, 1031 S Rampart Blvd, Las Vegas, NV

You’re not the only one wondering where the kids can eat well. Honey Salt creators Kim Canteenwalla and Elizabeth Blau worried about, too. They took matters into their own hands and created a kids’ menu inspired by their son, Cole. The end result is a food selection that’s certified kid-approved.

The kids’ menu features items such as pizza margherita, cheese quesadilla, crispy chicken tenders, mac and cheese, and rice crispy treats and gummies fashioned like sushi for dessert.

  3. Krayvings
11770 W Charleston Blvd #150, Las Vegas, NV

We all know how it can be such a challenge to make the kids eat greens and other vegetables. Leave it to Krayvings, the healthy food specialist in Las Vegas, to create a kids’ menu that features items that are both delicious and full of nutritional value.

Treat the kids to any one of the ten items created for them. There’s sliced turkey and cream cheese served in a whole wheat wrap with sliced apples on the side. There’s also gourmet grilled cheese, with fontina and provolone. But I think the real winners here at the pancakes and waffles, both topped with fruit and dusted with powdered sugar.

  4. Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar
Downtown Summerlin, 1725 Festival Plaza Drive, Las Vegas, NV

Lazy Dog takes kid-friendly to a whole new level. They actually have two separate dedicated kids’ menus, one for kids ages 8 and under, and one for the older kids. Each menu is tailored to cater to the different groups’ tastes and food preferences, all while expanding their palate.

Kids 8 and under have a selection of noodles and chicken tenders to choose from. They can dress it up with their sauce of choice, from marinara to alfredo. Meanwhile, the older kids get to play and have a hand on making their own customized pizzas.

  5. Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill
MGM Grand, 3799 S Las Vegas, Blvd, Las Vegas, NV

They may be too young to know or even care who Wolfgang Puck is, but that doesn’t mean they can’t enjoy what this renowned chef has prepared for them. To tickle the kids’ taste buds, he has created a large menu for the young ones.

Non-fussy eaters can feast all the want to kid-approved classics like spaghetti and meatballs, pepperoni pizza, and butter and parmesan pasta. But for those who are slowly developing a more sophisticated palate, they can get items like steak and fries and sautéed salmon and spinach.

  6. Buddy V’s Ristorante
The Grand Canal Shoppes, 3327 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV

Buddy Valastro of the Cake Boss fame isn’t just dominating the cake scene− he’s also taking Las Vegas’ dining scene by storm. Buddy V’s Ristorante is rooted in family values and the home-cooked Italian favorites he grew up eating. And having kids himself, he understands how tricky it can be to eat out with the children.

While you treat yourself to some linguine and clams, the kids can dig in on the items from Bambino’s menu, which includes chicken parmesan, meatballs, mac and cheese, cheese pizza, and tomato soup. When it comes to family-friendly restaurants in Las Vegas, Buddy V’s Ristorante ranks high on my list as they offer something for everyone.
