Five Las Vegas restaurants to satisfy your seafood cravings

Different kinds of seafood

Las Vegas may be quite a ways away from the coast, but that doesn’t mean the city is in dire shortage of good, fresh seafood. In fact, Las Vegas is positively teeming with great seafood restaurants, ready to drown diners with flavors of the sea.

With so many options to choose from, let’s start with five of the top seafood restaurants in Las Vegas, all guaranteed to satisfy your cravings.

  1. Costa Di Mare
    Wynn Las Vegas
3131 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV

At Costa di Mare, one of Wynn’s critically acclaimed restaurants, you are not only treated to fresh bounties of the sea. On the menu are Italian seafood, sourced directly from suppliers all the way from Naples and Sicily. This includes sea urchin, bright red shrimps, and Venetian soft-shell moleche. All of these are just the tip of the icing, as Costa Di Mare’s menu and ingredients are all seasonal, which means you get the best and freshest seafood from the Italian coast.

Costa Di Mare is also quite the date spot. To score extra points with your significant other, be sure to call ahead and reserve one of the cabana tables by the lagoon for a dinner to remember.

  2. Lakeside
    Wynn Las Vegas
3131 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV

Seafood dining at Wynn doesn’t end with Costa Di Mare. If you’re looking for a different kind of seafood experience, head to Lakeside. This restaurant specializes in Hawaiian cuisine, with fresh seafood line-caught and flown fresh from Hana in Maui all the way to Las Vegas. Chef David Walzog is even proud to declare that the seafood they serve here is even fresher than those served in the islands!

We know that can be a tall claim, but one look at the menu and you’re inclined to believe it. After all, Lakeside can treat you to fresh lobster, giant mahi-mahi and snapper from Hawaii, Pacific swordfish, and king crab, to name a few.

  3. The Boiling Crab
    Renaissance Center West
4025 S Decatur Blvd, Las Vegas, NV

Great seafood isn’t concentrated in Las Vegas’ finest, most glamorous restaurants. You can also find it in more casual joints, such as the famous Boiling Crab chain. This is the place to sit down and enjoy some shellfish, such as fresh crawfish from Louisiana, smothered all over in a variety of Cajun spices to give your tastebuds heat and excitement.

Order seafood only or pair your fresh catch of choice with other Boiling Crab classics. There’s the top-selling Cajun fries, hot wings, corn on the cob, and chicken tenders. A note, though. Some of the menu offerings aren’t always readily available. To be sure, give the restaurant a call at 702.386.0808.

  4. Luke’s Lobster
    Fashion Show Mall
3200 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV

Another go-to for casual and mouth-watering seafood is Luke’s Lobster. This humble diner at Las Vegas’ Fashion Show Mall is the place to sink your teeth into tender and fresh pieces of Maine lobster, covered in dollops of mayo, secret seasoning, and lemon butter, then served in one of their signature buns.

Not up for lobster? Try Luke’s crab or shrimp combo. If you want all, go for Luke’s trio, which gives you generous servings of crab, lobster, and shrimp. There’s also some bisque and chowder to enjoy, salads, and beer to wash it all down.

You can also have Luke’s Lobster deliver grub to your house.

  5. Other Mama
    Global Plaza West
3655 S Durango Dr #6, Las Vegas, NV

So far, our seafood journey in Las Vegas has taken it to the Italian coast, to the rich waters off the coast of Maui in Hawaii, to Louisiana, and then to the Northeast U.S. For your final stop, head to Other Mama at Global Plaza West to sample seafood, this time dressed in inventive Asian flavors.

Menu standouts are plenty. Their spicy tuna tartare with waffle fries served on the side is a definite must-try, and so is their ceviche mixed with habanero, octopus, white fish, and shrimp. There’s some spicy shrimps grilled and served on skewers to go around, as well as their “sashimi combination” (also has a deluxe version).
